Dennis Edwards

Dennis Edwards (1933-2018) was an American singer and songwriter best known for his role as the lead vocalist of the Temptations during their most successful period in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He was a prominent figure in the genres of soul and R&B. Edwards joined the Temptations in 1968, replacing David Ruffin, and contributed to iconic tracks such as "Cloud Nine," "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," and "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)."
